This email is going out to everyone on the list. I am sending you all this message to
get your thoughts on something that myself and another member were discussing the
other night while detailing his car. The Arizona based people on the list dont really
function like normal "car club" members. I mean we have a few scattered BBQ's and
gatherings, but not on a regular basis and nothing "really big" or consistant. I think
that this is partially due to peoples schedules and the lesser amounts of free time to
devote to getting all of this set up, and that is understandable. {Now maybe I have a
misunderstanding of what the list is, but never the less try to hear what I'm saying
before you bash me to death.} :) So whats my point you ask?? I am proposing this to
you all, I am willing to dedicate my free time, into putting together a real car club
for the Arizona people on this list. I have ran several other non-auto related clubs
before and have ran them very successfully. If you all !
agree that you would like to do more things like BBQ's, races/track events, club
cruises, geekouts, etc,etc...on a more regular basis let me know. I'd be happy to be
the "go to person" or "contact person" to organize some or all of these activities.
Obviously I wouldnt be able to do this on my own, I know a few of you out there would
help me out when needed. I'm not trying to step on anyones toes,or overthrow anyone so
please dont take this email that way, I just want to help in the efforts of promoting
our Nissan Sentra's and SER's. There are approx 33+ members in Arizona. It just seems
that with a little bit of re-structuring and planning this "club" could really grow
and go places!! Now I know that I'm like the new guy to the scene, but I just wanted
to know what you guys thought. Let me know,.......
