If youe car doesn't start only after you drive it for a while, it could be
the starter.  I know in my car when the starter was going out, it would lock
up and not crank over when the engine got hot.  When I would let it sit for
a while (30min to an hour) it would start up fine. This sounds exactly like
what you are describing. Starters don't like heat (thats why on big trucks
they put a heat shield around the starter).
