I have been wondering lately about the possibility of optimizing the VTC 
system on the GA16DE to produce more power or alter the distribution of 
power through the band. I know VTC is not as elaborate or complex as Honda's 
VTEC, so it seems that some sort of controller could be devised to allow 
manual control of when the cam timing changes, or possibly even 
reconfiguring the ECU to alter the VTC's operation. Is this possible in any 
way? If so, has anyone done it and produced any results? If not, is it worth 
it?
