I drive a manual 93 SE. I think the problem or characteristic occurs at all
levels of GA16DE motors. I could agree with the theory about the ECU
learning driving patterns, but for the most part I drive like a madman all
the damn time. I guess I'm going to drive it like a granny then see if it
learns a slow pattern, then do it vice-versa and see if it pulls hard.
Honestly though, I'd love to see some documentation or tech statistics to
back this up. I always look forward to the UP days or the days where the car
pulls hard. It feels like a new car...the DOWN days just plain suck...almost
as if you had no mods at all.
