I have never had any dealings with JBL, but I think (hope) I can help
you with this, but I am afraid that you will not like the answer....

I am thinking, by the description that you have given, that you are
"thermal-ing" out your amps. They can not handle the JLs at the current
settings that you have set with the gain controls of the subs.

I'm guessing that the reason you are seeing only one light is b/c the
amp is telling you that it is getting power, but at the moment is
inactive. It is inactive b/c it is protecting it's self from thermal
failure.

To break it down a little better: Your gain control (or volume knob) on
each of the amps is set too high. Try turning down the gain on each of
the amps. Your JLs can handle the power, but your JBLs can't handle
giving them what they can take. This is causing too much heat within the
amp, and it is cancelling the signal in order to give it's self time to
cool down.

Also, the amps could be protecting themselves from a faulty wiring.
Check all of your connections to make sure that you have everything
wired correctly. Especially if you have the DVC JLs, this is easy to do.

Explain your configuration of wiring and subs a little more and I (or
someone else) might be able to help a little more :-)
