Hi:
Say I do not own a 88 Sentra, so I don't remember how the gauges are laid out
as it's been awhile sents I've seem the inside of your model year Sentra. Are
the Fuel and Temp. gauges on the same side of the display? If so and this is
just a guess maybe something has caused the fuses to blow out on your Sentra
that go to the Temp and Fuel gauges. If the car was worked on before you got
it maybe someone unhooked the wires going to the sending units. I'd look for
the most likely things that could have happened or could go wrong before
trying to change out the gauges. If both gauges are on the same side of the
Speedo panel, I would think there might of been some reason someone might of
have disconnected the wires for some reason.
