What kind of transmission are you running? An automatic or stick shift? 
Believe it or not I'm running an automatic and not doing to badly, I leave it 
in drive and pre load the transmission (tork converter) at the starting 
lights, but I've installed an automatic transmission oil cooler to counter 
act any heat problems I may run into and so far every thing seems to be 
running great.
