Tom, speaking on his foofy car, said:
<<170, mad ass torque? My other car get 330@3800. I think that qualifies
as mad ass torque. That is a stock number too. When I finish my engine,
that will be up in the 400+ range.>>
hehehe....yeah, and when he's done, he's going to come over to my place
and we're going to strap Thunder to the hood so that I can say that I
got a 4th gear scatch and went over 109mph with a stock ECU.
I'll just put my car into fourth gear, and Tom's going to put his into
1st gear, and then when he burns the hell outta his tires, I'm gonna
take credit for it. I'll be able to say that I got a 4th gear scratch
and my engine wasn't even on :-)
Guys/gals....this thread sucks and makes us look like a bunch of
dumbasses. "I got up to 125" when the car is GOVERNED at 109??....no
offense, but sounds like total horse shit. You can't go faster than what
the car's computer will allow it to go. If you notice that the speedo
has gone past the 109 mark, it is a matter of concern, not bragging
rights. You need a new speedo.
I'll probably get flamed all to hell for this one, but it's not possible
to just bend a computer's way of computing.
Next spring the new clutch gets put in, but I'm going to guess that 3rd
chirps are nothing more than ppl's springs squeeking or maybe the GS-R
beside you is still burning 2nd out of his clutch.....but 4th? I've
abused the shit out of my car the first couple of years I had it. Solid
burns in 1st, weak 2nd, non-existant after that.
Sorry guys, but not having tons of stickers and a GT-R badge on your
Sentra/200, but still talking shit??.....
