Well, I'm finally home. What a weekend! This will be a long post, but
it's worth the read.....

Friday Oct. 20th- Meineki put my new suspension on Thunder. Suspension
Technique springs, Tokico shocks/struts, and KYB boots. Rides great! I
love the set up compared to stock. Next time Chris T. is in town, I'm
going to get him to let me drive his car so I can see the difference in
the AGX set up and mine.

Saturday Oct.21st- My birthday....woohoo! We had a great turn out for
the Show & Shine, and the weather was a little better than expected.

Our club co-founder, Scott Ashley, came in from Maine to grace us with
his presence. There was a bit of a scare for me that he wouldn't be able
to show, but he made the trip and it was a true honor to have him there.
If it wasn't for him, we would not have this site, our mailing list, and
therefore would not have been able to have the Show & Shine at all.
Special thanks to you, Scott :-)

Chris Tasker came with his '98 200 SX; Patrick showed with his Auto-X
ready B13; Jay and his two boys showed with the '88 E, but assured us
that next spring he will unveil the '91 SE for us; Dave showed off his
Y2K Sentra SE for us (looks better in person than on the 'net) (The car
that is...hehehe); Tom B.'s little monster '94 was there, Seth's V6
hybrid....I mean B13 was there (you gotta hear his exhaust....sounds
meeeennn!)

A few of us started off wanting our timing adjusted (in Chris' case
read: fixed....his timing was set @ 21....ouch!), but after Patrick got
a few volts in him, we waited until we got ahold of a decent timing
light. After a good timing light was found, Tom B. and Patrick advanced
almost everyone's timing. Thanks guys!

Without even dumping the clutch on Thunder, she was spinning the tires
pretty good up a slight incline. I was slightly impressed, but it was
when I turned around coming back down the hill and she did it again, I
was VERY impressed! Wouldn't have believed it unless I was there, and
luckily enough, I have a few witnesses to attest to my little
accomplishment :-)

After the meet, we bounced around a little bit and finally setted in
Chelmsford, MA. Had a good time, watched a couple kids get arrested in
the parking lot for being dumb-asses. I believe Dave and Tom took the
award for loosing the most pools games due to scratching on the 8
ball....lol.

Great meet and I'm looking forward to the next one :-)

Sunday Oct. 22nd- Met up with the New England Impreza Club, and a few
guys from the Honda club, and then there was Patrick, Seth, and Dave
there representing the Sentras.

Breakdown of vehicles:
1 Chevy S-10 Extreme
3 (maybe 4) Integras
2 VWs (anyone know what that white one was? It was sharp!)
1 Civic
3 Sentras
1 200 SX (hehe)
1 Maxima
7 (maybe 6) Imprezas
19 cars total!

We had a great run up the Kangamangus with only one little set back....
I guess my new friend (not really), Bubeck, got mad b/c we didn't invite
him ('87 Blazer) and hit my car while I was trying to park.

There will be pictures posted later of the accident, but what was funny
was that I have somewhere between 20-30 witnesses and about 50 pictures
of the happening. Unless his lawyer finds a REALLY good loop-hole,
Thunder will be getting a slight face lift soon :-)

The car was still safe to drive, so we finished the run and went to
Apple Bees for lunch. Had a great time and got to meet a lot of ppl.

Monday Oct 23- I'm tired and glad to be home. Thunder's a little worse
for wear, but I wouldn't have traded it for anything. It was one of the
best times I've had since moving here a year ago. My thanks to all of
the guys & gals who made the Meet and the Kangamangus run possible.

See ya next spring!
