Take out the spark plugs and with the valve cover off turn the camshaft bolt
with a wrench until you get to the heel of the camshaft lobe for the
particular valves you want to check or adjust. Repeat the procedure for all
remaining valves. If this is a GA16DE, it is a pain to adjust the valves.
There are shims that have to be removed, measured and replaced. Nissan
offers these shims in 50 different sizes.
