When was the last time you did a rad. flush? sents it's a 89 model year its
11 years old now and the rad. may be getting stopped up. If it was bought new
by your daughter and there has not been any service work done to the rad. its
way over do by now, if this is so, it would also be a good idea to replace
all the rad. and by pass hoses and anti freeze and while you've got it tore
down. When were the fan belts replaced? One of the best things you can get so
you can see how to do a replacement of these things and more would be a
factory service book, but I think a Hayes service book bought at almost any
autoparts store will tell you how to do what you want with some pictures to
help you out, it could answer a lot of questions you might have while your
doing the work. A Hayes service book is not the best in the world but it will
get you by to change out a thermostat.
