When someone talks about "rice" in relation to cars, they are generally
speaking of non-performance, over done, cosmetic things that have been
done to the vehicle.
A body kit by itself would not be "rice", but a body kit, chrome wheels,
low-pro tires, tinted windows, and lots of "performance" stickers
(usually with none of those brands actually within/on the car) would be
a perfect example of "rice".
Also, some ppl are known for putting things like BMW emblems on their
Del Sol (remember that one? I still have the pic somewhere). This would
also be "rice".
As a side note, those who do this are usually referred to as a
"rice-boy", or something of that nature. Until about 4 months ago, my
200 was pretty riced up, now it's just an example of an accident that
was ready to happen come to life....lol.
