Don't bother going to the VW dealership. Go to
checker or Pep Boys and they sell some bulbs that
change that fit. I put red bulbs in mine and it only
took like 15 minutes. All you have to do is take off
the trim panel around the gauge cluster,and take the
screws holding the gauge cluster out. once this is
done, pull out the cluster, turn it around and there
are four bulb connectors. give them a quarter turn
and out they come. The bulbs usually come in packs of
two, so you will need to get two packs. Now replacing
the bulbs in the center part of the dash(where the AC
and heater controls are I think is a little harder.
If anyone knows how to do this I would like to know.
I could probably figure it out, but I don't know the
correct bulb sizes.
