Is it possible this could be valve stem seals? I had a similar problem with
an 86 Maxima. After it sat overnight, it would smoke for a minute or two
when I first started it, but after running 5 minutes, it stopped. I figured
the seals were allowing oil to slowly leak into a cylinder thru the night
and then when it was started up in the morning, the smoke was from the oil
burning off. It did occasionally use a quart of oil (about every 1500-2000
miles), but with around 200k miles, I didn't complain.

>Sounds like you are gettting blow-by at startup. The pistons/piston rings
