i just wanted to comment on all of this filter talking. i looked at the web
site that was posted comparing the tests. but i also asked myself several
questions when reading the info. what year make model car(S) was this
comparison done on. what kind of oil was used. use a shitty oil on a shitty
filter itll make the filter look worse. what time intervals were used to
change the filters. lot of shit to look at to see if this was a real
controlled experiment. Personally i always use mobil 10w-30, and a powerflo
(purolator) filter, i get em on sale for 2/$5. they are fine. i will be
trying 5w30 on the next change. bottom line use what works for you. later tony
