SML: ecu

my friend owns a speed shop and said he has a guy that worked on bmw's for 20 
years only speaks italian, and reprograms ecu's. he charges $250, and uses 
the existing ecu, and no sending back stuff when you get a new mod., what are 
your perceptions. if anyone is interested let me know
