ok here is the story with the wrapping. ask person "type A"- which i will
call the conservative. they will say dont wrap the header because the heat
will stay in more and will cause the pipes to internally breakdown and
eventually crack. "TYPE B"- the experimentalist-me, i tried the wrap on my
headers and i honestly felt that it didnt make a difference. i wanted to try
it to see if i would get a difference. the heat did disapate less to the
engine area due to the wrap which would probably help with the intake,
however i recently unwrapped them because i blew a gasket, and have noticed
no difference without em. if you are gonna do this use DEI brand, and wet,
yes wet the wrap with watter before putting it on. wear gloves, the shit will
make you itch, goggles would be a plus the stuff is like insulation. also
overlap the wrap 1/4 of an inch for best results.--mike kojima if you made it
