<<It cost the guy that rearended me $5800 to fix my car. This was pretty
much replacing the entire rear clip.>>

yeah. I know that buying the parts new, unmounted costs more. What I'm
trying to do is buy the same amount of parts for the same cost as new.
The other thing I'm trying to do is save some money on painting the car
as well, since I am wanting to change the color anyways.

If I buy a teal/green clip for the car, I won't have to paint the trunk
lid or the bumper cover. The amount of fading may vary from one car to
the next, but again, I'm going to repaint the car within the next year,
so it doen't matter.

As far as our previous thread goes, Terrin, I've put it all behind me
and have come to the conclusion that we may never get along as "friends"
would, but that shouldn't come in the way of our love for our cars,
which is what this is supposed to be about.

I don't know why, but there was a post that I made that talked about
your intelligence being high for your age, but for some reason it was
rejected by the mailing service. I only recieve about 3/4 of the mail
that is posted, so I didn't bother trying to repost it 1k times just to
have it refused everytime.

Thanks for your input.
