The XE has a transverse mounted Inline 4 cylinder
1.8 liter engine, and spits out has 126hp and 129lbs of torque. It does have variable 
valve timing (technology borrowed from the legendary Z�), but its not like V-Tech. The 
process also includes microfinishing, which cuts friction and keeps the power flowing, 
while lightweight components get this engine up to speed. It's a peppy lil' car for 
sure. I drive a XE and I love it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
