When I had my 87 Sentra (bought new in 87 sold in 97) windows tinted both 
sides (4 doors) and back and a strip(6inches wide) across the front window at 
the top I never had any problems other than during the last 2 years I owned 
the car they started to turn a light colored purple, I think that was due to 
me using the wrong type of window cleaner.
