Anyone out there have a "Cherry Bomb" on their 1.6's? I was thinking about
putting one on my 94 XE to quiet it down a little (Hayame muffler and 2.25"
catback, along with PS headers)--I found them at Meijer for $16, in the
right diameter and they look alright--perforated core, not louvered and
solid construction. Anyone who has messed with one, please let me know.
I am also wanting to replace my 2.25" crush-bent cat-back with a 2" mandrel
one, but I don't know where to find one. I like my current muffler and so I
basically just want the piping. Can anyone help me here?
One last issue: Has anyone replaced their factory mid-pipe with a 2" piece,
along with a new cat? I am thinking about doing this as well, and am
wondering if it will make a difference at all.
