<<All wire type defrosters in the rear window (and even the ones on the lower area of the windshield around where the wipers sit if you have them) shut off automatically after a pre-determined amount of time. This is so nobody forgets them on.>> Ok...I wan't going to say anything when Tom B. made the comment, but since there are now 2 ppl who have said this, I will make the correction: My '86 Honda Accord LXi did not have a predetermined time limit on the rear defrost. I could leave it on for as long as I wanted to, which was nice on long trips b/c I didn't have to worry about turning it back on every time. When winter started, I simply turned it on and forgot about it until spring time (which in turn I usually forgot about until mid-summer....lol). When I bought my 200 SX, there were two things that I automatically didn't like about it: 1). had to keep turning on the rear defrost 2). had to keep turning on the cruise everytime I got in the car Both were very annoying when I first got the car. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~ST3~ '95 200 SX-SE w/Sus.
