I have installed my own tint on my 86 Sentra Hatchback. The entire
car but the windshield was mirrored (until the cops stopped me and
forced the removal of the drivers and passenger front windows). On the
rear window (being SO big), I needed to use 2 rolls. Where the
defroster's main stripes are, I just cut around them or else they would
cause a bubble, but the rest os the small stripes are I just tinted
right over. I can honestly say that it was my first time tinting, I use
my defrosters whenever I get into the car in the winter and I have never
had a bubble in the 2 1/2 years that the tint has been on the car.
