you have to remove the cyl head to replace the valve seals. The valves have
to be removed to redo the seats and the oil seal and valve guides. If I were
you, I'd save up and have the thing ported and then rebuild the head. Are
you burning oil badly? using quarts? I would wait until you can rip the
head off and redo it. you could swap another head onto the motor and save
the costs of the machine shop pressing in new seals and stuff.
