Say give WWW.TireRack.com and WWW.Tires.com for cost's and
information on many different tire brands. I'm sure there are other web sites
to check out also. One tip I can pass along is, any more when I need just
about ANY thing I search and check for it on the web to find out as much
information about what every it is I'm going to buy AND then I get busy on
the telephone doing the same thing with local companies. I compare prices
from the web sites with the local stores and I let the local stores that I
have called up know that I can get (what ever) cheaper on the web and will
they match the price and I also let them know that the price I am willing to
pay must be the same or less that the web site price I've found including my
local sales tax, in other words it must meet or beat the web site TOTAL price
which most times includes shipping fees but no sales tax. Just today my car
battery went out on my Sentra and sents I had wanted to replace it with a Red
Top Optima battery I checked out the web sites and checked with local stores
selling Optima batteries and got a 1000 CCA Red Top installed for $120.00
from a local battery dealer, that $120.00 included the battery and sales tax
and the install and a complete charging system check.
