After getting my tranny replaced a little while ago, supposedly with an imported one from Japan that magically uses the US style drive axels.. :).. Anyway the problem that I am experiencing is that everytime I down shift and let go of the gas pedal it feels like the car wants to hop.. I have to install a tachometer cuz I have a 91 Sentra E (Canada) and I'm not too sure if the idle is set to 750rpm on idle. I'm not exactly sure if it's set too high or too low. It's only strange that the problem just occurred after having the tranny put in. It feels too unsafe to slow down using both brakes and downshifting cuz it makes the car completely unstable.
