The engine is the same engine, but there are some slight changes. It also
got a little bump in power. I think they abandoned the R because it was on
a 4 door model. All the SE-R models in the past have been 4 doors. When
they added it to the 4 door models, they just made it the Sentra SE. There
are pretty reliable sources saying the new SE-R should be out by late this
summer I believe as a 2002 car. It will be 4 door at first but they might
add a 2 door version later. I'm pretty sure its a 2.5L engine putting out
about 190 hp I think. There should also be a V spec version as well that
will probably put out more. Remember, this is as far as I can remember and
the details were pretty vague.
