I dont know which would be louder, but the 0, -3, -6 db ratings apply to the
crossover. The -6db will block out the lows better than the -3, and the -3
better than the 0. So if you want clarity, go with the -6db. I'm not too
sure if it affects the sound level too much though. Basically all it means
is the drop in frequency intensity over a given octave. So for every octave
the intensity drops 0, -3, or -6dB, depending on how you hook it up.

Hey guys, got a question for all you audio freaks.
On my crossover for my new components, it has 3 different hookups for the
positive tweeter hookup. Basically, it has a 0db, -3db, and a -6db, and i
need to decide which level i want to hook up. I guess my question is, which
level would make the tweeter more loud? I love the high notes, so i want
them to be the sound that will blast your ears away. I'm guessing 0db, but
i
don't know for sure. Thanks and all have a merry Xmas!!!
