Recap: After replacing the fuel *filter*, I got the car jumped and it started right up... However, I'm not 100% convinced it's fixed, since it has only intermittently failed recently. ie: The problem may still be there. Question: If the fuel pump is/was truly the problem (and not the filter), could the car idle like it does now? Thanks for all the help.... PS: The AAA guy had an awsome portable battery jumper.
