Jason:
I don't know if you followed the links on the Ballard web site and read the
hole story but the fuel cells sold to Nissan and others are used to generate
Elect. power, so it looks like Nissan has plans to build a elect powered car
and or truck. Ballard says they have been working with Nissan sent 1991, I'm
taking a guess but it would most likely turn out to be a car used for driving
back and forth in a city, some what like the Honda car that Honda has brought
out and it might have a elect powered motor with a battery bank and a small 2
or 3 cylinder powered gasoline/diesle (or some other form) to assist the
elect motor and for back up. Due to all the smog laws that are coming into
effect and will come into effect the different auto manufacturers have to
have some super low emimission autos to met the California Air Resorces Board
(CARB) and other states smog laws.
