i know one who bought a Pulsar VZR and it has the SR16VE engine think you need to contact him because he just imported it from japan. think he knows more about importing these engines but i agree you are quite crazy to expect a 160+hp Nissan engine to cost 2 grans. think it would really cost you a lot and just wonder hoe much. yohann is his name. here is his post in the list Hello to all my old friends on the list. If you don't remember me my Name is Yohann and i was a member until about 4 months ago. I had a GA16 which a modified with a lot of help from all the friendly guys from this list. Anyways before i un subscribed i told you guys that i was trying to import a 2 door pulsar hatch back V-ZR(1.6 neo vvl engine or SR 16VE) from japan to Sri Lanka which is where I am from. I promised to write a review on the car once i got it and that's why I have returned to this list. Well, the car landed here 4 days ago and I got it on the road yesterday. You know this is not a regular car as soon as you start it up, even the starter motor sounds different and the engine has a kind of rumble that can feel as a very light vibration. Looking around the inside, the dials are white and the redline is at 8000 rpm. I eased her into first started moving.torque was at a nice strong level and i drove slowly until she was warmed up. Then i took the rpm up to 4000..kept it there for a while and floored it. Wow a little wheel spin...strong pull up to 6000 rpm and them woo hoo....up to 8000...change into second..what's this ..not a chirp but wheel spin? all the way up to 200kmph and still climbing fast when i ran out of road so i stepped on the brakes...which are very similar to the calipers and discs found on the nissan Primera(G20 over there i think) again amazing stopping power. The verdict? I ve driven an integra g-sr, that was my car when i used to live in Philly and let me tell you the nissan is way ahead. and i haven't even added a k&n yet. I hope this didn't bore/irritate you guys I just wanted to share this info with fellow nissan enthusiasts. Hope you found it informative. I import used cars over here and I already have orders for 4 after people taking drives in my car. If any of you are looking from a gray import this is a good car to get. Does anyone know where i can get more tuning information on this car? Thanks and warm regards Its good to be back Yohann and his e-mail address is: yohannd@sltnet hope this helps. keep cool and connected red > 4.
