Marcus:
When I did my front calipers I had them power coated, right now I don't
remember where I found Van's caliper paint but if I remember right the cost
was $47.95 for the paint kit and the power coating was $35.00 or $40.00 for
both front calipers plus around $8.00 or $10.00 dollars ground shipping using
UPS one way and the power coating company paid the return shipping back to
me. So the cost will be right around the same amount and I feel the power
coating looks better and lasts longer than painting. I don't know where you
live but there might be a power coating place close by you and you'll and
save the UPS shipping time both ways, I have a guy I've been using for a long
time and I just sent them to him in Ohio and I live in Calif. my UPS turn
around time both ways with power coating work was about 10 days, so my Sentra
was down for that amount of time but I had planed to use the time for other
work to the car so it didn't matter to me, later as it turns out there are
about 3 or 4 places a lot closer to me in San Diego who could of done the
power coating and I could of had the calipers back with in less than 24
hours. Just something to think about.
