Yes the Vortech kit for the SI is very nice indeed. They are also offering
one for the S2000 which remains to be tested. I too looked at the pics. and
saw that they simply placed the blower itself where they had space and
created a spline to run the SC. Adapting the kit for our cars would, to say
the least, be a challenge. I mean, if the shaft that drives the pulley isn't
perfectly level, and placed correctly is could spell disaster for the SC
itself! Hell Stillen had similar issues with their Maxima kit! Not saying it
can't be done, but it wouldn't be much different than starting from scratch,
other than you may have a few parts that "might" be able to be adapted. But
I do agree that the Centrifugal SC is a much better option when trying to do
a custom SC install in a car. Mainly because the roots type blower requires
the fabrication of an entirely new intake manifold. Oh well, now somebody
buy one and customize it to fit!

Subject: SML: supercharged motor
Guys, I just looked at my new superstreet and they have a vortech
supercharger for the civic that uses a pully and axel setup because of the
opposite intake direction and pullys. I bet we could adapt the thing to
work
on our engines because its not like using a new intake manifold. We could
use the existing brakets to make a mounting point for the new supercharger.
Just a thought that may be easy to do.
