well its been about 2 weeks since i cut my shifter post down to about the
size of a91 ser. i used jb weld to attach my new aluminum knob.i said i would
let you guys know and here goes. the feel is awesome compared to the overly
tall duffis truck post. i chose a good knob and love the way the shifter
looks in my se interior. its not a true short throw but is 100 times improved
over stock. the jb weld is rock solid with no knob movement at all after 2
weeks of hard use.this costs me 19 bucks. i strongly recommend this for
anyone who wants to upgrade for minimal cash. one pointer though is to make
sure you get rid of the air pocket before the jb dries. to do this just twist
the new knob a couple of times around.
