I'm very aware of  that..guess I miss phrased that .. I currently have a
Weapon R filter. I pulled it off and went with a warm air setup for a while
because of heavy rains here in So Cal last week. So while it was off I
inspected it and it really looks like crap now...even after cleaning.
 
 I want to replace it with a K&N. Then I will never have to worry about it
again.

Was just curious about the appropriate model #
