So your friend told the dealer he misshifted while racing? And they were
that nice to warrant it for him? What else was blown in the engine? It's
goto be more than just bent valves for $21,000 and takes 4-6weeks.

OTHERS PLEASE DON'T REPLY. The last post was a simple question which was
turned into a flame, thanks to Terrin(again!!) and his ass sucking followers
Roll cage and others. If you guys really have such a big ego and nothing to
do, and always want to be smart assess just to make yourself feel better, I
suggest you do that in real life. You are not being helpful to the list but
just ruining this nice mailing list for everyone else. If your ego itches
you to word off again with your smart aleck comments or insults, please, I
repeat, please email privately. Not like I enjoy hearing your bullshit but I
just don't want your shit piling the list.

Thanx to all of you who kept it real! Stay away from bullshiting... peace!

> Thanx for the compliment. My friend told me that the car would be
finished anywhere from 4-6 weeks depending on how busy they get. So since it
happened a while ago I think they just got 3 more weeks of work left of it.
> My friend and his older brother pretty much did what you did and they told
him it going to be about $21,000(you can get a new celica for that) FREAKIN
mulah to replace the motor. I dunno why really, only conclusion my friend say
is just his Celica had the J-spec motor in it. That thing was so quick man.
His fastest time on the strip was a 14.8sec 1/4 mile with get this
CAI,Eibaich Springs, & Nitto street slicks. Thatz IT! Everyone always
thaought he had nitrious or sumthin, but from what I heard the motor more or
less was burnt to a crisp from broken to cracked everything inside of it. A
total mess. & Since Toyota has had alot of people happend that to them they
say based on individual experiences they will most likely fix it but just
once, thatz it.
