I am about to take my 93 XE to get a boatload of work done including CV
Boot, CV Joint, total rear brake job, and bushings. Questions: My car has
145,000 miles on it. Is there anything else I should have them check while
it's in the shop? I just got a total tune up last July so skip the regular
tune up stuff. Also, should I invest in polyurethane bushings (I think
that's what they are) or should I go for stock. What is the price
difference? I put over 140 miles on my car every day and I need something
that will last a long time. I am no longer looking to beef up my HP, I just
want to keep my car running like a champ. I was also thinking about
ignition wires...specifically Nology. I have read a lot of threads saying
that they do nothing for HP which is OK because I'm interested more in a
cleaner combustion perhaps extending my gas mileage. Will they help in this
case?
