I never had any problems with the 2 1/4 piping with low end pull and mid to
top improved vastly. I am using a sebring racing muffler and a random CAT
with a 14" glass pack resonator. The noise was way to harsh for me with no
cat and no resonator. I have had great success with it and have had it on
for 6 years now, I had the front pipe done 2 1/4 from the header to the cat
and I think that improved the airflow also. I did the exhaust like this
because I knew I would be doing the head cams and bottom end of motor and
maybe a turbo low PSI some day and this day is coming close, so its a good
idea to upgrade to larger piping if you plan to do motor work.
