No problem
I don't know if you had to customize the linkage to fit your car, but
I had one hell of a time doing this. I had to fit the toilet supply over the
shaft of the new TB. Then I had to crip it flat to conform to the original
shaft. Then I had to shave the thing down with a file to get the right
tolerance. I then took each piece of the linkage and filed the holes larger
to fit onto my new custom shaft. There was a tube for the plastic things
that hold the spring mechanism on. This was tricky, I drilled it out
slightly and shaved the shaft a little more. It fit on perfect! I assembled
the thing and put it on the car. I hooked the cables and it worked well with
no slop. This is important because you don't want slack in it because the
gas pedal with feel loose and resonse will be low.
I know some of you just stuck rags into the plenum, but I removed the
wholw thing and took it to Extrude hone after I bored the opening out to
60mm. They ran the putty through it and it smoothed the entire thing out! I
will tell you what, the idle despite the TPS being a little off, is very
smooth and power is immediate and quick. I have the automatic and the tires
could chirp if I didn't have 215/40/16 tires! I will try on some cynders on
some tar and chip roads to shin them.
I know that the torque has increased alot and I plan to dyno the
thing in Ohio in the summer.
                Good luck Chris 92 classic
