hey, dude
     there are 3 things you need to lower or slam any car with no drawbacks. 
  the first, of course, is the springs.  the second is getting the matching 
shocks so your car doesn't go lop-sided after a couple months.  the last 
thing you need to do is install camber kits (about $200 installed) on both 
front wheels.  only then will your car be slammed and problem free.  the 
speedbumps, though, you're always gonna have to take at an angle ... and 
don't forget which side your muffler/exhaust tip is on.
