Yeah check the battery cable connectors for any signs of fatigue like
cracks. When i bought my 97 200sx used, the connectors had been over torqued
(there was a small crack on the positive one) and they would actually slide
off the terminal while driving causing all the lights to come on! Really
freaked me out. Easy fix though. Replaced it with a gold plated stinger
connector. It has hookups for one 4gauge and two 8gauge wires and secures to
the terminal with set screw. Now it doesn't move at all.
