This part will absolutly not give you a 25% increse in
power on an otherwise stock GA16 or any other engine
for that matter. I can absolutly guarantee it.
25% is almost the entire gain we have gotten out of
the GA16 including headers, CAI, exhaust, pullies,
ecu, throttle body and cams. It is crazy to even
conside that a magic box can do more than that.
The most it could possibly get is about 5-10 midrange
hp if it was properly tuned on a dyno. That is all of
the potential of chip tuning on a GA16, determined
after many many dyno pulls.
After reading the description of how it works, it only
sounds like it affects part throttle operation also.
So maybe it is posible that it gains 25% of part
throttle power which is stupid, its WOT that counts.
You can get 25% more part throttle power by pushing
your foot down more!
It also claims that you will loose milage. That is
pretty strange because nissan ecus are tuned rich and
usualy gain milage after ecu tuning. JWT leans out
the mixture on their ECUs to gain power.
Project sweet sixteen often gets 40 highway mpg after
installing the JWT ECU.
The JWT ECU is far superior to this product.
