Ummm, not to pick on you terribly here, but the A4 1.8T quattro weighs 214
pounds more than the WRX and has 57 fewer HP and 51 fewer lb/ft of torque. I
agree that the A4 has a nicer interior (the WRX seats are much better for
real driving, but we will ignore that for the moment.

For clarity:
Audi A4: 19.06 lbs/hp
WRX: 13.33 lbs/hp
Audi S4: 14.28 lbs/hp

(for reference)
Supra TT (93 model): 10.89 lbs/hp

Oh, and for whomever mentiond the 1.8T Jetta 4motion, allow me point out
some very important facts for you:
1. the 4-motion isn't even here
2. the FWD 5-speed 1.8T Jetta weighs 75 lbs less. The 4-motion in Germany
weighs _alot_ more. I have no idea where you got your figure of "200 pounds
lighter with turbo and 4wd".
3. can you explain how the quattro system doesn't have drivetrain losses?
maybe it's slick 50?? ;)

I'm not trying to be an ass here, but the conjecture is getting stinky.
take care,
rob
