Some mods are dangerous or extremely annoying to others. But to give you a
break, I say they should ticket you after they have ticketed all the Harley
drivers who removed their mufflers. Noise is noise. It shouldn't matter
whether it comes from a car or a bike. And I've yet to hear a car on the
street that's louder than an unmuffled Harley. But as for the clear side
markers, those should be OK as long as they LIGHT yellow. And personally I
think projectors could fill a useful purpose by showing an in-flight movie
;). But seriously, there's little purpose in having so much lighting on the
front of a passenger car that it practically blinds oncoming traffic. If
it's unique AND well-done AND sensible AND not a safety hazard, well and
good. If you sawed or clamped your springs so much they bind, and are
running a straight pipe to a SuperTrapp then you deserve to be cited. In
any case it sounds as if you need to remod your car to avoid future
entanglements. Good luck

I have some rectangular side markers. They are clear too... This past
saturday I got three tickets by a miami-dade pig. I got a ticket for my
muffler being too loud (no cat), side markers being clear, and driving with
my high beams on. He said he could of gave me more tickets for my corner
lights being clear, tints being too dark, and he thought I had those plasma
headlight bulbs on my car. He wanted to give me a ticket for my projectors.
I
told them they are perfectly legal and that BMW's come stock with them. He
went around my car 2 times looking for all the illegal sh*t he can find. He
said, "I am giving you a break!" Sh*t, what kinda break is he giving me with
3 tickets?!
By the way, did you install your own projectors? If so how long did it take
you?
I'll have pics of mine by the end of the week and I will be sure to send
them
to you.
