It can happen. All it takes is for some homeless man/woman to wander out in front of
you.

I got involved with the Import Street Race Scene in my early 'teens,37 now,and off the
top off my head I can think of at least a half dozen or so wrecks,two of which ended
in fatalties,that happened in supposedly "safe" industrial parks.
Just because there's no one else around doesn't mean you won't lose control and hit a
pole or a tree. And what about the guy you're racing? He might lose control or spin
out and hit your car. Don't think it can happen? I've witnessed both scenarios. Not a
pretty sight.
