I would. I care nothing for the looks stuff; most of that gear you can get
by doing searches on Google anyway. It's the knowledge base here that I
value and value highly. I wouldn't quit the list because of all the
facade-related posts but it makes it less fun for me.

I'm interested in knowing how many people would like to have a performance
only mailing list. I know there are lots of people who have unsubscribed
from this list because of the constant off topic discussion. I'm not
planning on shutting this list down, but I don't think there's much that
can be done for it at this point. This will basically become the general
chat list where everyone can talk about 1' tall spoilers, street racing,
clear taillights, ages, dual exhausts, etc. (the sort of stuff people are
supposed to be taking to the current chat list, but never do).
The performance mailing list would be independent of this one. Discussion
would be limited to performance and maintenance, such as engine,
suspension, braking, performance parts, fixing things, etc.
How many people would like to see this happen?
