i think the "corrosive ingredient" in most fuel system cleaners is
(Alcohol) this is what causes the corrosion in our injectors.
Very correct... Its actually methanol some companies use as a carrier for
the detergents that do the cleaning.
I remember I emailed a Chevron chemist a while back to ask and they
explained that to me. They also say that since they don't use methanol as a
carrier it is safe for pintleless injectors that our Sentras use.
