It will not help make the engine run better at all.  Unless you have cams NOS 
or a turbo, the ECU tunes the engine for intakes and exhausts and such.  The 
only time you need the pressure up is when you run Turbo or supercharge.  
Also if you run high compression and high lift cams, it will benefit you.
