I just wanted to let you know that the construction of a new aftermarket
parts database in underway. The tentative directory structure may be found at http://www.sentra.net/parts/new/ .
This database is geared toward listing all the aftermarket parts available per
specific vehicle instead of just all the parts available. With the current list,
it's hard to compile a complete list of parts that may fit your specific
vehicle. The new database will be easier to use because of the way it's
organized. Information included with the parts will contain the
manufacturer, a picture of the part, a description, the MSRP, vendors that
resell the part, and hopefully with Mike K's help, some sort of rating system.
The OEM listings will be restricted to commonly replaced parts (maintenance
parts) whether made by Nissan or not. If you know of parts that need included in
the new database, please send all the required (listed above) information and
images to me. This will eventually be the most comprehensive parts listing for
our vehicles.
