An interesting thing happened. I took all non essential fuses out, except the blower motor and the a/c fuse, and the light fuse. No turn signal, hazzard, cigarette lighter, wipers, defroster, radio, etc. However, the a/c stopped working, this is despite the fact that the a/c fuse was in place, and the blower motor was blowing. I swapped out the fusible link for the a/c with the radiator fan and still it did not work. I then put the fusible link back in the radiator fan and the fans again started working. I wiggled the fuse in the a/c spot and replaced it, etc., and still no a/c, even though it had previously been working. I next, in desperation, replaced all the fuses and started up the car and the a/c now worked. I am now afraid to touch it lest I be without a/c for the summer in a desert climate :( Doesn't the clock and the radio presets mean that the light test will always light up and the radio and clock are always draining the battery? -- On Tue, 19 Jun 2001 17:56:41 Kenichi wrote: >If you want to look for what is discharging your battery you will need a >cheap 12V test light.
